On Saturday 1 August, Rosemary took on an amazing abseil challenge … suspended high above the Jurassic Coast, she tackled a thrilling 40-meter vertical descent in aid of Axminster and Lyme Cancer Support.

A great day was had by all at the Captain’s Charity Open.

It was a hot and busy day at the beach reminding people to use sun protection, shade and hydrate.

We are delighted that the beach hut is popular and provides a safe place to relax and watch the world go by. As the charity has grown, we need to change how things work as there is more demand for the beach hut than dates available. Going forward we are adjusting the way we manage the beach hut. Those undergoing treatment/significant diagnoses or those recently bereaved will continue to have priority.

The code will be issued for October – December and eligible clients can book it for ONE day across these 3 months.

We will continue to have the WhatsApp group for any last minute available dates.  We realise this news may be disappointing but we are trying to navigate the easiest way to manage and maintain.  There will be a slight delay for these dates being released due to the changes being applied this end.
