Here for anyone living with, or beyond, cancer.
Axminster and Lyme Cancer Support is a local charity, made up of people who understand what a cancer diagnosis means for you — and for the people around you. Whoever you are, wherever you are on that journey, you’re welcome here. We offer a wide range of free support — from drop-in sessions and specialist support groups to therapies, activities, and practical advice — all built around what actually helps, not a fixed programme. Whatever you need right now, you can find it below.

What support looks like
We offer a mix of creative activities, holistic therapies, exercise classes, and practical advice on diet and lifestyle — all free, all local, all for anyone affected by any cancer, not just the person diagnosed.
Our drop-in sessions are informal. Come for five minutes or the whole afternoon — the kettle’s always on.

Information & Advice
At Cross Keys House, you’ll find a library of useful books and cancer support leaflets from Macmillan, FORCE and other charities, along with jigsaws, painting and craft kits.

Sometimes the most valuable support is simply having space to breathe. Cancer can bring fear, anxiety and isolation as much as physical challenges, and a lot of what we offer is the chance to sit down, be understood and not have to explain yourself.
For a change of scene, clients can book exclusive use of our Beach Hut in Lyme Regis — a quiet spot by the sea to relax, reflect, or simply get out of the house for a few hours.
