Join me for a mindful and immersive metal clay workshop, where you’ll learn the techniques to create distinctive, reusable textures for your jewellery masterpieces. In this enjoyable and creative class, you’ll have the chance to design and craft your own solid silver pendant, charm or dangling earrings using the magical medium of silver clay.
This class welcomes beginners or anyone looking to acquire new skills, such as creating your own textures. It’s also ideal for those who find the more physical aspects of traditional silversmithing, like hammering or sawing, challenging, as this process is much gentler.

Throughout the session, you’ll learn:
- The fundamentals of working with silver clay
- How to create your own custom textures
- Methods for refining, firing, and polishing your finished pieces
- Tips on caring for and maintaining your clay materials
- Various techniques for cutting, shaping and connecting the clay

- 7 grams Metal clay (with the option of purchasing more if you choose)

What you’ll take home:
- Your very own metal clay pendant, charm, or earrings ready to put on your own chain, ear wires or charm carrier, alternatively some chains, ear wires or charm carriers will also be available to purchase on the day)
- Your own handmade, reusable texture
- The fundamental skills you can use to make metal clay pieces at home
What should you bring?
It would be great if you could bring your own apron or wear old clothing to protect you from any stray clay dust or mess!
