Newsletter No.59 – July 2023

Hello, its Donna again this month, I have been so busy during July it seems to have flown past. The weather has been hit and miss but the Beach Hut has been fully booked and people are enjoying the shade or the shelter. I cannot believe that we have had the hut for 3 years now. It benefits so many clients each month especially those going through or recently finishing treatment.

Supporting you – If you would like to chat through referral options and support ALCS can offer we can arrange to meet either face to face or a telephone call. Please click here and place a booking for (31st August) and someone will be in touch to arrange a suitable date and time for you.

On Saturday 8/9th July as a family we held an afternoon tea event for our friends and families raising money for both ALCS and St Margaret’s Hospice Taunton who have also recently supported our family. A total of £282.00 has been donated to ALCS. This money has been allocated to talking therapies for our clients to access counselling, coaching, hypnotherapy etc. This is available via a referral through Mary should you wish to have more information on our professional partners a list can be found via the website. We also occasional have guest speakers during drop-in or our monthly support group for those going through treatment who can tell you more on what they do.

Mary here… popping up to say a huge thank you to Donna and her family for this wonderful fundraising event.
