Newsletter No.44 – April 2022

I would like to start by sharing some good news! While on holiday in Scotland I received a phone call from the radiology department at Dorchester with the news that my 5 year mammogram was all clear. How wonderful for them to have taken the time to call so I didn’t have to have the roller coaster of waiting.

We celebrated with a swim in Loch Monaghan.
Coming home I felt invigorated to start plans for our 4th year celebration and also our 2nd Open Day. Details will become available in the coming weeks and months.

Axminster and Lyme Cancer Support circle logoThis month our highlight event will be watching, cheering and supporting 9 amazing people who are going to jump out of a perfectly good plane to raise money for ALCS. I am amazed  at the support in our community, it means such a tremendous amount to myself and all the team.

I would like to say  a huge thank you to all those who are jumping, all those who have sponsored and all those who volunteer with ALCS, without whom we would not be able to do what we do.

Good luck to our skydivers!

some days are hard
some days friends feel far away
some days they are

some days lovers leave
